Currently using janumet-sitagliptin &metformin 50 mg tablets now prescribed gibtulio 25 mg. Can janumet be a substitute for gibtulio.

Mr. lybrate-user, thanks for the query. I have seen the details mentioned. However, there is no information like fasting, pp glucose, hba1c%, dietary pattern weight, height, extent of daily exercise, lipid profile and bp readings. Plus serum creatinine and urea also so no proper suggestions can be made. However, empagliflozin is given to achieve better control. It is not a substitute for the present treatment. Thanks.
