Stain in my incisors and canines. Already undergone stain removal in incisors of upper jaw but now again arisingabove the area of teeth where already stain removed. And also want to clean all teeth. Is it possible to remove stain permanently and if yes how much does it costs?

Stains are of 2 types. Intrinsic and extrinsic. With cleaning extrinsic stains go away. With laser teeth whitening intrinsic stains go away to an extent. First identify wat stain is getting caught on your teeth and then we can discuss on practises and treatment tat keeps you away from stains.

Hello Lybrate user. I advice you to check how long after the stains reappeared. And cause of stain is important in treatment plan. It may be even dental caries. In certain areas, the drinking water has more fluoride content causing fluorosis. Fluorosis causes brown stains. Take an intraoral picture of the stains and follow up. The color of the stain varies with the causes. The treatment differs for fluorosis stain, other normal stain. Mostly extrinsic stains due to food, can be removed by scaling. Intrinsic stains can be removed by bleaching method. Identifying the cause is important. So take an intraoral picture and consult me for further details. Thank you.
