Hi. I understand your concerns. You will need to undergo a detailed examination and pulmonary function test which is needed for diagnosis and also to assess severity of asthma based on which treatemnt can be started. Asthma is chronic and a common problem causing symptoms. Unfortunately it can not be cured but can definitely be controlled so that you can lead a symptom free life.
