I am currently using pepcid 10 mg to treat gerd. I no longer have heartburn but I can feel a cold icy sensation coming up to my chest and my upper back area. Feels like reflux and I get the acid taste in my mouth sometimes but not the burning effect. Is this normal? And can I increase my dosage of the pepcid 10 mg, from 1 tablet in the morning and 1 tablet in the evening to 2 tablets in the morning and 2 tablet 2 in the evening?
