My mom is a diabetic patient ,doctor has prescribed her ecosprin av 75g is it safe to take daily? Any alternate medicine for this?

Ecosprin 75 mg is a drug (Aspirin 75 mg) given so as to maintain proper movement of blood with in the coronary arteries (blood vessels supplying the heart muscle). The doctor must have prescribed on finding the need for the same. There is no direct substitute for it. It is quite a safe drug as many persons are on this on a regular basis. However, since she is diabetic patient, it is essential to maintain her blood glucose strictly with in the specified limits like fasting < 100 mg or closer to it, PP 150 to 170 mg & HbA1c% <7%.
