I had done filling in my tooth and it's been almost a year since. But from yesterday there's slight pain in that area.

Hello. Good evening. Hope you are good. I saw your query. I will help you solve the issue. Restorated teeth maintenance depends on our diet and chewing. It may develop secondary caries or any fracture in the restoration. So I advice you to take orthopantamogram and follow me to verify the cause of pain. You can take pain killers which I suggest after knowing your medical history in the follow up. Because pain killers will only give temporary relief. Identifying the cause is essential. Thank you.

Need to get an xray done of the tooth for proper diagnosis in case of secondary caries below the restoration/filling. Need to go for re-restoration or rct depending upon the condition.

Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need root canal treatment. Advance procedures can be done with laser. You may consult me in person.

What is the nature of the pain? If pain is intermittent without much discomfort then I think it may be due to eating something hard. If the pain is continuous then it is quite possible that the nerve is infected. Its better to get it checked out from a nearby dentist.
