Hello Lybrate user. Pyria is gingival disease. It's seen in all age groups. It won't affect the teeth or loosen the teeth badly. Don't worry. The gingival inflammation are infections in gingiva. Take an antibiotic for three days, twice a day. Apply topical metrogyl ointment on gingiva for three days, three times a day, each five minutes and wash it. Do scaling now and repeat scaling again in three months. Then do scaling yearly once. Then only the inflammation will be cured completely. Brush twice daily. Use dental floss.
