Hello doctors. My question is for psychiatrist doctors. I have been suffering from depression, ocd, anxiety and derealization since 8 years and taking medicines since 5 years. Currently I am taking serta 100 and risdone plus at night. I am feeling good but not fully cured. There is one symptom which is not going is that my mind doesn't work like before. May ne it's a brain fogg. I doesn't able to solve tricky questions like earlier (before 8 years). My mind gets confused or gets sticked when I try to solve any tricky question or any tricky thing. What is it? Is it a depression symptom or any other mental illness? please guide me to improve this symptom.

Sir, it seems that you are suffering from multiple psychiatric illnesses and you are complaining of slowness of mind (not able to work as before). Please consult your psychiatrist (mbbs, md psychiatry) for dose adjustment/ further testing if required alongwith psychological intervention if he feels appropriate. Lastly I will suggest you to rely on your local psychiatrist rather than online consultation. Regards.

Dear Sumedh, Please check the diagnosis with the same doctor who prescribed risdone plus. Probably she/he may reduce the dose of risperidone in risdone plus to give your mind work better.

Dear lybrate-user despite having multiple problems, it is appreciable that you are feeling good with treatments. Now may be having residual symptoms or effects of drugs. You need to do regular walking or exercises. Also take healthy diet with rich vitamin c and minerals. Also undergo psychological evaluation by a psychologist and take counselling or therapies.
