I am taking thyroid drug. Methimazole. So drugs need for balancing level of hormone.

Mr R Gowthaman, Methimazole is the drug for hyperthyroidism. Usually taken for about 18 months and then discontinued. In some cases thyroid function returns to normal or if again excess activity comes back then preferred treatment is either use of radio active iodine or thyroidectomy.
