Hello, Thanks for the query. I have seen the details mentioned. You have mentioned only the PP glucose, which is quite high. But there is no mention of fasting glucose as well as HbA1c%, which are quite important to understand the total situation. As regards Voglibose 0.2 mg does hekp in reducing after food glucose, but whether it will bring down to the desired level is a question mark. There is a need to look at over all treatment which includes dietary intake, extent of daily exercise, weight control and medication. With present weight your BMI (Body Mass Index) is 25.55 kgs/Sq meter, (Normal < 23 kg/Sq meter). That means you have an excess of almost 7 o 8 kg. This also does contribute to high blood glucose. So please do look at the whole treatment rather than just adding voglibose. Thanks.
