If the front 2 teeth are longer than the rest of the teeth, can they be trimmed/shortened?

It can be, upto a considerable length. Because too much loss, might expose the dentin and cause sensitivity. If you have no problem then try going for a bridge or two different crowns, them will compensate and cover the lost tooth structure. No sensitivity will be felt thereafter. it is normal to have long upper two middle teeth in comparison to neighbourhood. clinical evaluation is necessary to determine whether it is normal or some modifications are required. you can send me pictures for the same
