Hi etizolam is benzodiazepine which has addiction potential. It is prescribed for short term sleep or short term management of anxiety. If you are feeling depressed you should take anti depressant which are not addictive and don't develop dependence. It is possible with what you are describing feeling numb could be due to not sleeping well or part of depressive symptom which needs to be explored by your psychiatrist.

Dear Lybrate user, etizolam alone is not used or not a solution for depression and anxiety. First of all you should discuss your problem with psychiatrist in detail and make a treatment plan. Now a days you can book online appointment also to hide your identity if you wish.
