I am suffering from gad anxiety disorder. I am taking paroxetine 12?5 mg medicine. Since 2 years. Even now also I feel little panic in public place mainly driving alone. Earlier before treatment I was getting panic attack frequently. The attack was severe. Even now also I always think of future panic attack involuntarily. I consume alcohol in evening take medicine in the morning. Do I get panic attack even on medication.

Hi lybrate-user, alcohol is depressant and can make your anxiety or panic worse in long run due to development of alcohol withdrawals. You may feel better when consume alcohol but feel worse next day. My advice is not to mix alcohol and paroxetine medications. You could seek help to come off alcohol.
