Why will the body reject the new device unless you have some known allergy to metal or ceramic material. Allergy is usually not related to deformities. However the multiple deformities indicate that a proper assessment is necessary to see if the muscles around your hip, knee and ankle can support the hip and keep it inside the socket. Strong muscles are important to keep the hip in the socket. It is also important for the knee to be straight and the foot to be flat for you to be able to walk comfortably. If all these conditions are met, then a total hip replacement with large head will give a stable hip. A ceramic replacement will ensure that the hip joint lasts long in your case.
