Dear lybrate-user, depression and anxiety are recurrent disorders. You are lucky that you do well with low dose of antidepressants. Now that you know your disorder and its treatment, please consult the psychiatrist again. Occasionally recurrent depression may need a mood stabiliser to maintain the improvement. Alternately you can try therapy at this early stage.

Hi lybrate-user, the medication could be restarted on lower dose and then increasing the medications for maintenance dose. I would recommend to see your psychiatrist to discuss rather then doing on your own.

Yes you can start it again but in view of it's cost you can choose other medication that are equally effective as brintilex. Consult with psychiatrist.

You are not supposed to stop or restart medications on your own. It is wise to consult your psychiatrist again, get assessed and then decide on next course of action. Good luck.
