I have been suffering from lumber canal spinal stenosis from last 2 years. I feel pain in my right leg when walk or stand more than 2 minutes. I have met with orthopedics and taken drugs like gabapin, gabapentin but no big relief and neither iwant to depend on medications for normal life and nor I want to resort surgical ways. I have taken fewphysiotherapysession (traction and nerve stimulate procedures) but no big relief. I have noticed that when I doexercises, pain increases and when I don'tdo exercise, timing and gravity of pain decreases but not ends but I fear that I will lose mobility if don'tdo exercises. Please suggest me some effective treatment which can improve my pain and resistance level towardsthis problem and keep on my mobility. Usually I do spine extension exercisesand don'tundertake flexion exercise. I notice that some days when I have ache in my back waist area, there is no pain in leg while walking or standing. My mri report is attached.

Hi I can’t see any mri report for this one. If your diagnosis is spinal canal stenosis this is more of a mechanical problem. I don’t think it will improve unless you do something. You have got an option of injections for the nerve or caudal epidural injection. Another option being surgery. All other options will be temporary use - physio.

I need to see the mri report first. If the diagnosis is spinal canal stenosis then it won't vanish or decrease without any treatment. U may need some form of intra spinal injections, posture correction, supportive lumbar care etc.
