Hello, thanks for the query. Dka & ketone bodies develop when blood glucose goes high. Having dka repeatedly is not good for patient's overall health and kidney functions. The glucose levels whch you have mentioned are all very high, suggesting that current treatment needs to be upgraded. Particularly her insulin dosage needs to be increased by 4 units first and then glucose levels need to be monitored. Later if levels still remain high another 2 units increase may be done.
