I am 64 years, having diabetes for last 20 years. My present hba 1c is 7.4 with fiasp insulin 7-7-7+ 15 tujeo. My problem is ,i am getting fasting level is coming to 130 to 140 mg. Pps also at times more than 200 after 2 hours of meal finishing. My Dr. says, I need not worry pp after 2 hours. It may come down after 4 hours since quick action insulin will work upto 4 hours. Is it correct? I want to reduce my hba 1c to 7%. I am taking vildagliptin 100 mg sr also. Pl advice me. I am taking these in the morning time instead of night fearing hypo in the night.
