After extraction of my right upper molar teeth in december 2021, I had weird pain, headache till january, than since feb I feel burning sensation along with previous symptoms asked dentist and they said teeth extracted site healed properly, no clinical examination issue found. They prescribed me some ointment and said wait for a week. Than I called my childhood dentist whom I always addressed as uncle, upon listening my issue and history he immediately scheduled an cbct maxillary. Than after the scan, I got the news that I have a fracture of bone near the extraction site, final report will be on monday. I just wanted to know is this possible to have bone fracture while tooth extraction and what will be next treatment plan I am worried.

Symptoms you said donot always say about fracture, it could be due infection in the extracted site or due to maxillilary sinusitis or there are many causes. Do not jump to fracture directly treatment will be based on the nature what cbct shows.
