I am suffering from seborrheic dermatitis from more than last 15 years but it was in control from last 7-8 years. Suddenly it has regenerate and I have very broad white dry skin on my scalp. It is only at top of my head and every time dry white dandruff type in my ear also. I am on treatment of dermatologist and he prescribed me seboclear shampoo, topisal 6% lotion after bath with coconut oil but there is no relief from these medicines. I have used logidruf s shampoo and conaz ct shampoo also but there was no relief from these also. Due to this now days little pimples are also coming on my face and my skin getting dull and black spots of pimples. Please suggest treatment for my both problems.

Certain skin conditions are chronic and requires multiple visits where in your dermatologist will change the course of management. Without looking at your scalp/skin it is not possible to decide the course of current management. Please consult a dermatologist online or offline. Meanwhile, 1. Avoid stress: stress will trigger your seborrheic dermatitis 2. Avoid oiling your scalp. It seems it's already quite oily and hence pimples on forehead 3. Change pillow cases every 3 days 4. Consume fresh fruits and veggies and avoid/reduce intake of sugars. Regards.

First of all will have to evaluate n see if you have seborrhic dermatits, sebopsoriasis or scalp psoriasis. Now if the prescribed medicine is not working meds hv to be changed accordingly. Both oral n topical options r available.
