I am 28 years old male I was having burning feet from last 4 days and today I have done sugar test and uric acid test and sugar is 94 and uric acid is 7.8 when I show it to doc and I told him that I was in marriage and from. Last 4 days I was eating lot of non veg and some drinks not to much drink so doc gave me cant plus and vitamin injection which he told me one today and 2nd injection after 15 days and he told me it it's normal no issue and he told me due to lot non veg and drink intake and he told me stop pluses and days and non veg and drink water that's it no medicine required and I have faced same vitamin defence in 2020 burning feet that time uric acid was normal and same doc gave me vitamin injection and vitamin medicine and problem was gone now I want to now your opinion and I have only burning feet nthg else can I take neurobion forte or not.

Hello, thanks for the query. I have seen the details mentioned. Your glucose level is quite normal, no reason to worry. As regards the increase in uric acid, in many people uric acid level does go up but that does not cause any problem with most. Only some persons develop high uric acid related problems with joints specially big toe and other smaller joints. Burning sensation probably is a temporary phenomenon. As regards vitamin injections being prescribed, you are very non-specific, as no specific vitamin names are mentioned and also how did you or the doctor came to no that there is specific vitamin deficiency present? Plus apart from burning sensation what other symptoms do you have? It would have been better if specifics were mentioned. As regards high uric acid, it better to avoid red meat, organ meat, sea foods or fishes in general, alcohol and aerated drinks and certain pulses (not to eat too much rajma). Drinking more water is good. Milk and milk products & eggs are quite fine. If you have any questions please do come back. Thanks.

Dear Mr. lybrate-user, it does look like you may have vitamin b12 deficiency as injections of neurobion seemed to have helped. Sometimes excessive alcohol intake can cause the same symptoms and it will be a good idea to stop alcohol consumption. You can take tab neurobion after the course of injections is over
