My friend has just swallowed a little amount of floor cleaner and after that we gave her a glass of cold milk. What more should we gave to her and is it mandatory to go to a doctor?

Yes-she have to be taken to a hospital at the earliest and doctor will do gastric lavage; specific antidote; symptomatic treatment etc and keep patient for observation for specific period .as first aid we may have tried scratching at near throat-inside mouth; make her eat plenty of banana ;rice etc which will slow down absorption of poison, if any, by dilution of gastric contents.
