Hi lybrate-user, so sorry to hear this but it is a common side effect of using melacare and other such creams for a long period of time without medical supervision. It's unfortunate such creams are loosely sold to public who are not aware of the side effects it can cause. This is a difficult condition to treat and it will take some time to recover. You might need some procedures to take out the pigment from the skin. Consult a dermatologist at the earliest. Best wishes.
