Hello tooth becomes transparent due to high consumption of coke, fizzy drinks, acidic drinks, or in medical conditions like people with high acidity, gerd, and others. With time enamel start being removed and the second layer dentin (yellow layer) starts exposing. Good that you have stopped acidic food. Also, take antacid medication or drink if you have acidity. The teeth which is reduced once cannot be made the same again but you can make them not fall again or go beyond this level. For not decaying if you have acute carious activity in your mouth. For that 1. If you do not have fluorosis then 3m clinpro 5000 1.1% toothpaste (its expensive than the other toothpaste available in the market) or enafix toothpaste. Reduces risk for cavity and make enamel strong also 1. Correct brushing technique 2. Flossing daily 3. Use of mouthwash like chlorhexidine, hydrogen peroxide, or betadine or saltwater rinses 4. Use of interdental brushes 5. Gum paints like stolin. Metrohex plus gel. 6. Fluoride application every 6 months through a nearby dentist 7. Tell your dentist to take 5 x-rays (upper/ lower right and left back teeth from canine to last molar) of your every 6 months and keep a track of caries activity. 8. Brushing at night is super important, no matter what you eat or drink 9. Restrict eating toffee/ chocolate/ milk/soda/pizza/burger/chewing gum/or any food or drink in between your meal. 10. Stop habits like drinking coke, lime, any fizzy drinks, tobacco, paan, smoke, and similar. You need to reduce the bacterial load in your mouth, as soon as you do it you will see change. Get your fillings complete before its reaches deep.

Change your regular toothpaste with flouride releasing toothpaste, brushing twice daily after applying an leaving the toothpaste for 5 minutes before rinsing and not eating for half hour is good enough for effect of toothpaste to take place. Avoid taking acidic beverages (coffee, tea, carbonated drinks), coloured food items and citric food directly, if unavoidable take them along with great meal of day like during breakfast lunch or dinner.
