When I was 13 the doctor found out that my abdominal pain was caused by my swollen ovary after a scan. I have other existing diagnosing so the swollen ovary was detected late. I was rushed in to the ot but was then found another issue which according to the doctor "there was no place for my menstruation to go out hence it started collecting inside which ended up infecting my right ovary. So the ot was cancelled I went in again however this time my right ovary was removed and a part of my intestine was used to make a way for my menstruation. I was also diagnosed with endometriosis my question is does this affect me in any way in future? If I were to find a partner.

Hi, Lybrate user, removal of right overy doesn't eliminate chances of getting concieved as single functioning overy can make you pregnant, even, by conjugetting healthy sperm of your partner to eggs released by single overy to trevel to fallopian tube, entering uterus to result favourable, of course. Homeopathy can assist you favourably, if ended. Tk, care.
