Dear Lybrate user, it must be hard going through panic attacks. I'll suggest that you go for psychological counseling/therapy, along with your medications. A combination of medication and therapy works best. Therapy will help you understand panic attacks, go to the root of the concern, helps you identify your triggers and thoughts and help you manage it. Especially cognitive behaviour therapy is proven and widely used to treat panic attacks. Certain techniques and strategies in therapy, can help you manage panic attacks. Therapy will also help you in the long term. Once you've learned to manage, you can also reduce your dependence on medications. You can also try breathing techniques, grounding technique, guided imagery to help you relax. Please consult a psychologist, with the right help, things will get better. All the best. For help and counselling you can contact me as well, through Lybrate.

Dear lybrate-user, whenever a medical/dental problem comes up, the anxiety seems to worsen. Let these problems get treated soon. If not, your psychiatrist will adjust the doses of tablets.
