That sounds like a good idea for you. If I was the woman, I would certainly not want to be married to you just to solve your depression and to keep you happy. All this sound selfish and you must look at what you are bringing to the marriage. You have to be there to satisfy the woman too. In all this I suggest that you look to treat yourself and then consider proposing to a woman. You have to be an asset in a relationship and not a liability. Meet with a counselor and work out your issues, and if that person advises that you meet with a doctor, please do so and comply with both therapies. Marriage plans can wait; your wellbeing is important.
