I was in depression before 4 years. Now again it relapse. So my Dr. gave citalopram and etilaam. Then also not feeling well. Mood is also not improved.

Dear Renu, Citalopram starts its action after 2-3 weeks only. It also acts in a particular dose. Please follow up with your doctor after 2-3 weeks of citalopram. Some persons living with recurrent depressive disorders, may need a mood stabiliser in addition.
