Hi sir, I am a diabetic since last 6 years, I want to start diabecon tablets but I already taking other medicine before food. Can I take diabecon with other medicine or can I take diabecon afternoon. So there will be time gap between other medicine and diabecon tablet. Please advice.

Hello, thanks for the query. I have seen the details mentioned. However, there is no information regarding current glucose control (fasting, pp glucose levels, hba1c%), weight, height, dietary pattern & extent of daily exercise. Without knowing all the details there is no way to give any suggestion or advise. The drug mentioned on its own will not be helpful in controlling blood glucose. It can at best be taken as an additional support. If you have any questions please do come back. Please understand at your age it is essential to maintain fbg < 100 mg, pp 150 to 160 mg & hba1c% < 6.5%, then one is considered having good control. That will help in preventing or postponing the possible long term complications of diabetes affecting various vital organs & systems. Thanks.
