Now still he in hospital but there is no stomach pain after taking food even after stopping pain killers since 2 days. So please tell us whether we can go for surgery or not?

In case of acute attack due to gall stone disease, even after decrease of pain, you should wait for at least 1 month of pain-less time-span before planning for surgery. You should maintain proper diet control (avoid fatty meal & being empty stomach). Get in touch with a general or laparoscopic surgeon for preparation for the surgery.
