Sir a doctor recommended me for 1) C. cefadroxil 500 mg twice a day for 4 days after food 2) EPIDUO GEL only on the pimples at night are these safe, do they have any side effects.

Hello lybrate-user tetracyclines are the groups of drug most commonly in practice for treating acne. Cefadroxil doesn't belong to the group, but it might help to some extent. Epiduo gel is an excellent preparation. But has to be used with caution, as it might cause peeling of skin and redness. Hope this helps take care.

Hi cefadroxil is an antibiotic and epiduo contains medicines for acne. These are safe. Sometimes slight irtitation, redness and dryness can occur with epidoo gel. Be little cautious while using it.
