Hello doctor. I am 33-year-old male. I am feeling pain on my lower back from past 2 days. It is bearable as if now. One of my friends said that this might be a kidney stone. Doctor, please tell me where do kidney stones hurt the most.

You will feel acute pain in the lower abdomen or groin. Pain will be felt below your ribs along one side of your body. This is caused when the kidney stone moves through your urinary tract. Pain might be too severe to bear and you may need immediate treatment for relief.

It depends on the position of the stone. mostly they hurt more at the upper back. but this is not the right way to know. if you have doubt then take sonography of the abdomen.
