Without knowing the vital information it is difficult to comment. However, usually antithyroid treatment (particularly tablets either carbimazole or propylthiouracil) is given up to 24 months. Beyond that if the condition does not improve, then other treatments are considered like radio active iodine ablstion or surgery. So please come back with all the specific details.
