Parents nowadays give young children coke or Pepsi to drink. I was shocked to see a mother giving coke in a feeding bottle to a baby. Can anybody please provide the harmful effects of these drinks so that people don't make these mistakes. Thanks.

Dear Mr. Ramaswamy. Your concern is correct. There are studies titled " Sugary drinks"..you can see it in the net..They speak of ill effects of those kind of drinks.Mind you all ready made drinks..including Tropicana are not good. The reasons are 1. contain too much sugar. 2 not taking full fruits..you do not get all nutrients and fibres. So much so.. If you see EAT WELL GUIDE published in UK..advice is given to reduce fruit juice intake to 150 ml a day!! Cola contains caffeine also..don't think we can recommend to babies.
