My friend is suffering from allergy by exposure to sunlight. Red rashes occur in the area of exposure to sunlight even in 5-10 minutes of exposure, and it itches badly. After that itching area swell. Please help.

Should use sunscreen and protective clothing before anticipated sun exposure to prevent sun allergy. Existing rashes will come down with topical steroid cream for shirt duration. Oral antixid- hc acts as a systemic sunscreen (it has high carotenoids as antioxidants). Should consult dermatologist for proper use of medicines.
