What are side effects of atomoxetine prescribed for adhd. Can adhd be treated without medication and can it be cured.

A significant number of children outgrow adhd as they grow older. The downside to this is, the patience required in parents to wait till that happens, and, bear the loss the child makes in scholastic performance, and, behavioural validation. Certain symptoms of adhd can be treated with non-pharmacological interventions, however require significant time, effort and commitment by the entire family (not just one parent). This is difficult, as impulsivity is often a symptom in adhd, which may make the child un-cooperative for non-pharmacological interventions.

In clinical settings, side effects are not much. Moderate to severe adhd does need medicines to control it.
