Hello, thanks for the query. I have seen the details mentioned. However, apart from understanding that you have been diagnosed with diabetes, have had weight loss and you are taking some drugs, there is no information on following important points: blood glucose levels (at the time of diagnosis), current levels, hba1c%, actual weight (current and earlier), height, dietary pattern, extent of daily physical activity (specifically exercise), lipid profile and bp readings. Unless all the details are known, there is no way to give any suggestions or comments. My request is please come back with all the above mentioned details preferably in a private conversation (paid consultation) where I will be able to assess everything and give specific advise as well as prescribe the necessary medication. In this communication we are supposed to give only general guide lines, no drugs can be recommended or prescribed. If you are not willing to for online consultation then please do consult your near by physician or diabetes specialist for guidance. I await your response. I am sure you are aware that in a well controlled diabetes patient fbg should be < 100 mg, pp 150 to 160 mg & hba1c% < 6.5% considering your age. If you have any questions please do come back. Thanks.
