My father suffering with mental disorder .his brain doesn't works properly some months then works properly again not works properly, anxiety,sleepless whole night, very aggressive and very active during this not working period. He is prescribed to take tab quel ,bupron xl 150 ,and tab divalrate. What time it will take to make him perfectly cure?

Hello Lybrate user, good to know that your father is taking treatment for the problem. As you said he will be ok while some period of time and again the problem will occur ,his behaviour will be change etc do you discuss the problem of your father with psychiatrist? If no then please book a appointment with psychiatrist and explain it in detail so psychiatrist will think abt to change in medicine or change the doses of medicine accordingly. Do not stop the medicine when your father feel good in that period also we need to continue the medicine. If we stop the medicine then the problem will reoccur so please do not stop the medicine.
