If the lady doctor has examined her and told her about it, then there must be some relation of your mother's headache and menopause. Since your mother is a patient of depression, you can take her to a counsellor. A depression patient has many negative thoughts. Many of such negative thoughts get internalised and have negative effects on the body of the patient. This is known as psychosomatic pain/condition. Your mother might be having this. After talking to a counsellor, she will be relived of her suppressed negative thoughts and also emotional pain or trauma. This will help her in reducing her body pains. A counsellor will her help to modify her negative thought pattern. Counselling, along with medicines works very well with depression patients.
