My query is to endocrinologist/ diabetologist. I was prescribed by endocrinologist to take jalra-m 50/500 before breakfast and glador m1 bd before lunch and dinner for 3 years. But from few months I was suffering from loose motions and sour belching frequently and got admitted for the same several times. Then md doctor suggested me that I am taking 500 mg metformin in each tablet 3 times a day. It may be possible that intake of 1500 mg metformin causing stomach upset, lose motions etc. Therefore he suggested morning tablet without metformin (jalra-50) rest same. My sugar is not under control. My fasting is 150-160 and my pp is 220-230. Kindly guide and suggest effective and less medicines to control my sugar. I am hypertensive too and taking cilacar-10 and losar-beta for the same. Also taking desvenlafaxine-100 in night. Kindly help and guide, I will be grateful to you. Thanks in advance to the doctors.

It is better to add another tablet for diabetes apart from what you are using now. Insulin is a good option.
