I am 65 years old lady I have hypertension reading is in between 130 to 140 and 77 to 82. I am taking telmikind h40 once a day. I have hypothyroidism and taking thyroxine and febuget 40 for uric acid. Which test should I do now. I have not done test for long. Please suggest.

Creatinine, thyroid function tests, fasting sugar and ecg should be done annually and bp check at regular intervals other tests are less useful febuget is required only for those with gout. It’s not very helpful if taken just for blood level. In your case uric acid rise is side effect of bp medicines. Better to change bp medicines than to add medicines similarly many people are prescribed thyroid medicine for elevation of tsh in blood. Always better to keep long term medicines minimum necessary.
