Tribet r 2 effects patient kidney. tribet r 2 controls blood sugar level but effect kidney creatinine level 2.95 blood urea 56. Diabetes approximately since 20 years. Patient eyes effect due to diabetes. One side eye site gone due to clotting and nerve dryness. One side eyesight present but weak eyesight. Patient is 60 years male.

Hello, thanks for the query. Madam, I have seen the details mentioned. Please understand kidneys are damaged mainly by uncontrolled high blood glucose. None of the anti-diabetes drugs cause any kidney damage. It is the high blood glucose which affects the microvasculature (small blood vessels in the glomerulus of the kidney), retinal small blood vessels, small blood vessels in the peripheral nerves also those in the penile muscles. Therefore, please understand it is not the drugs which damage the kidneys but the high glucose levels cause that. Even the damage to the eyes is due to high blood glucose in the small blood vessels of retina. The patient of diabetes needs to take appropriate drugs (oral) initially and in later years patient invariably needs insulin injections to control the glucose levels. Since there is no mention about the patient's glucose levels, drugs being taken, dieat, weight & height as well as extent of daily exercise no further comments can be made. Thanks.
