My aunt has back pain. And leg pain with little swelling of legs. And not able to walk properly. I have taken her to ortho specialist they told there is calcium deficiency 8.6 mg/dl. Doctor has given waist band and knee band. I want to know why the swelling is coming to legs.

Could be many causes-protein deficiency, excess weight, kidney or heart function issues. However, I would think the orthopaedician has examined her, so must have ruled out these causes.
