Hello doctor, i'm 42 years of age and a mother of two children aged 13 & 8 years of age. After my first pregnancy, I lost weight quickly and got back in shape. My second child nursed for a long time and hence it took time for me to shed weight. However, my prolactin levels were high for subsequent years. When I did a comprehensive test, I was quite low on vitamin b6, b12 and vitamin d and my gp had recommended multivitamins for 6 months. I only consumed these multi vitamins for a few days and stopped since I was not comfortable. I recently checked my prolactin levels and it was 27 ng/ml which is slightly higher than normal. Could it be due to stress and vitamin deficiency?
