My fps is 125, ppbs 165, hba1c 7.4 doctor has prescribed istamet 50/500. Taking since last 45 days one tablet daily at breakfast time. But sugar reading not reducing. Pl advise.

Hello actually istamet is a good tablet and it controls your sugars well. For your height and weight, you are obese. Firstly get your weight lost. 7.4 hba1c itself tells that you're not having good diet habits. So first follow diet modifications and do exercise.
