I went to the caribbean for vacation, while I was there I got some mosquito bites, which isn't surprising, but I also started getting these other bites over night. I found out that they were sand fleas, or biting midges, and that their bites could take hours to a few days to appear. I washed all my clothes and sheets before I came home, but it's been over 6 days since I first started getting bites and I have been home for at least 5. Every day, at least 3-5 new bites appear. Should I be concerned? I am also allergic to the mosquitoes that live in more tropical climates and usually swell up and bruise awful.
