I have been diagonised with slip disc at l5 s1 and been advised root block therapy, can anyone advise if ts effective?

If your symptoms are due to prolapsed disc at l5/s1 level with pain going in your legs, then it is a good treatment to reduce down the inflammation, and thus symptoms due to inflammation of the root.
