Hi, i'm 36 years old & I have been prescribed a couple of 5 mg diazepam for fear of flying, I also take 30/500 mg cocodamol 4x's a day, is the diazepam safe enough to take whilst taking cocodamol with it being a low dose as i'm worried about the risk of interaction.

Diazepam is not the first choice for fear of flying, it is long acting also and is not used for this purpose. Also your pain killer contains codeine which will increase the sedation along with diazepam and can be extremely drowsy. Consult an astute psychiatrist for second opinion and get a better medication. Good luck.

All the drugs if taken together might cause excessive sedation or decrease/ increase the affect of each other. If prescribed by your doctor then no issues he knows the drug interaction. If he is unaware kindly inform him and he will guide you.
