My age is 58 years and weight is 70 kg. Height is 5'7" I am in sound health. But, most of the times I feel stress and depressions. All the negative thoughts are coming throughout the day and feel fear to do any task. It is increasing since 4 months. I am regularly using gas tablet like nexpro rd 40 since 12 years. I want to take ayurvedic or homeopathy. Please suggest.

Hi lybrate-user, negative thoughts and fear of doing any task along with decreased concentration, restlessness, occasional palpitations, increased sweating, and shivering of the upper limb and lower limbs, are the symptoms of anxiety disorder feeling sad most of the time, decreased energy levels, decreased interest in activities, sleep disturbances, negative thinking, decreased appetite, and decreased self-esteem are the symptoms of depression. Hi Mr. lybrate-user, hope you are in good health! as I can see that you have already identified that you have lot of negative thoughts which is increasing from last 4 months, it is advisable for you to connect to some professional counsellor to help in reducing your fear, stress and depression. If something bad has happened in the recent past which is reason for your fear and negative thoughts it is always better to talk to someone about it. Ayurvedic or homeopathy will help you to reduce your symptomatic issues but to eradicate your root cause of stress, you need to work on your mental health. Stress and over thinking is also one of reasons for poor digestive system. Hope it helps. Please take care
