Hello doctor, will ano metrogyl cream cures permanently fissures, and how many days we have to use ano metrogyl. Please tell me.

Ano metrogyl can be used for fissures for atleast 2 weeks along with sitz bath however it's not a permanent solution, you should change your diet and life style habits .take high fibre diet, plenty of water ,atleast 4 lit of water per day, and laxatives if needed to avoid constipation or hard stools. For acute fissure with severe spam of anal opening better to undergo surgery.

Dear patient, firstly the condition anal fissure is mostly associated with hard stool, straining & irregular bowel motion, so to get rid of fissure permanently you have to do lifestyle modification for regular bowel motions like fibre rich diet, plenty of oral fluids; avoid meat in diet, etc. Secondly, whether anal fissure completely be cured with ano-metrogyl or conservative management only, can only be commented after clinical examination of your peri-anal region, anal sphincter tone.
